Blessing Day

Addie was given a blessing today by her father. We had my dad, Sam, Jared, Rick, Dave, Grandpa Paul and my cousin Allen. She had on a beautiful white dress but unfortunately I never did get a family picture with her because during the closing hymn our little girl had her first major blowout. It went everywhere. All over herself and all over myself. Luckily I had a jacket that I used to hide the evidence on my skirt so no one knew but I was very well aware of it.

Baby's First Holiday

For Halloween we decided to dress up as one of Danny's childhood obsessions, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Danny was Raphael, I was Leonardo and Addie was Donatello. We were just missing Mikey. Addie just turned a month old yesterday so we decided to stay indoors and pass out candy in our Mapleton neighborhood.

1st Monthly Picture

Since Addie Rae is my first child that means she also gets to be the guinea pig on how I'm going to do the monthly pictures. I started off with the sticker on her onesie and with her on a cushioned chair however I think I'm going to do it differently for the other months. The sticker kept falling off with her movements and losing the stickiness to them so I eventually just got a picture while she was napping.

Addie is starting to smile a little and I love her little coos.
